The impact of the conflict in the Middle East region on raw material trade routes has caused a quite significant increase in the prices of various plastic products in the market. Reynaldi Sarijowan, Secretary General of the Central Board of the Indonesian Market Traders Association (DPP IKAPPI), stated that the price increase of plastic reaching up to 50% occurs because Indonesia still heavily relies on imports of raw materials to this day.
