Video: Pegadaian Now a State-Owned Enterprise, OJK Speaks Out!

The Financial Services Authority (OJK) has officially approved the use of the pawnbroking business licence under the name PT Pegadaian (Persero), replacing its previous legal entity name PT Pegadaian. This determination is contained in an announcement issued by the OJK, and the decision refers to the Decree of the Head of the Department of Licensing, Special Examination and Quality Control of Supervision of Financing Institutions, Venture Capital Companies, Microfinance Institutions, and Other Financial Services Institutions, which was established on 23 July 2026.
