Video: OCBC's Premier Banking Sharia Service, Complemented by Waqf Facilities
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Head of OCBC’s Sharia Unit, Mahendra Koesumawardhana, has confirmed the commitment of UUS OCBC Indonesia in developing Islamic financial and banking services in Indonesia.
One focus area in developing sharia services, UUS OCBC Indonesia ensures that its services and products support sustainable benefits for the community. There are three pillars of implementation: financial equity to ensure customer funds are secured within the sharia corridor, social responsibility where customer investment management is directed towards sectors related to community welfare, and investment strategy transparency.
One of the sharia service solutions being developed by UUS OCBC Indonesia is the Premier Banking Solution UUS OCBC Indonesia. The sharia-based Premier Banking solution offers waqf (charitable endowment) facilities implemented through investment allocation disbursed in the form of continuous waqf.
