Video: Not Just for Rice, Biofertilisers Boost Palm Oil Production by 30%

PT Pramudita Darya Parma, a producer of organic fertilisers based on local wisdom and supported by biotechnology research, is working to improve soil fertility and support food production. Chief Executive Officer Freddy Wijaya stated that the company’s current production capacity is sufficient to meet market needs, but it sees opportunities to increase output in line with growing demand prospects. Currently, the majority of the organic fertiliser produced by PT Pramudita Darya Parma is used by farmers for food crops such as rice, maize, and horticulture. There is also significant potential demand from the palm oil and plantation sectors, where the use of biofertilisers can boost production by 20 to 30 per cent.
