Video: Middle East Heats Up, Global Energy Supply Chain Disrupted

Geopolitical tensions in the Middle East region are once again shaking the global energy market. The war involving the United States and Israel against Iran is no longer limited to mere disputes or military operations. However, it has prompted Iran to make a strategic decision capable of disrupting trade chains, including the world’s energy supply chain, which will undoubtedly shake the global economy. The attack that killed Iran’s highest leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with his wife, children, and grandchildren, has led Iran’s parliament to urge the government to immediately close the Strait of Hormuz. With the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, nearly half of the world’s energy supply chain will be obstructed in its movement.
