Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – BMW Motorrad Indonesia is optimistic about the potential of the large premium motorcycle market and sales in Indonesia.
Head of Marketing BMW Motorrad Indonesia, Indra Adhiwijaya noted that rising incomes among the upper-middle class population, lifestyle orientation and the increasingly growing touring trend are driving demand for premium large motorcycles in the country.
BMW Motorrad observes that the large motorcycle market in Indonesia is already quite mature, as reflected by the role of big bikes as part of lifestyle. In 2025, BMW Motorrad sales increased 5% year-on-year, marking the highest growth in Southeast Asia.
In an effort to expand market reach and sales, BMW is also developing more affordable premium big bikes priced below IDR 200 million, and BMW Motorrad is currently increasing public awareness of these products.
