Video: Let's Ngabuburit at GBK! Nusantara Snack Trail Festival
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The culinary festival titled Jejak Jajanan Nusantara was officially held in the Gelora Bung Karno area, Jakarta, from 6 to 8 March 2026. This event serves as the government’s effort to provide greater space for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises to market their products at strategic public facilities.
The festival, which showcases a variety of traditional cuisines from across the country, is also part of the ‘Pasar 1001 Malam’ movement, an initiative that encourages the use of government-owned public spaces to be more inclusive for UMKM participants.
Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Muhaimin Iskandar said the programme is aimed at strengthening family economies, especially home-based businesses that have long been the backbone of the micro economy.
Through the festival, the government hopes that UMKM players will not only gain broader market access, but also strengthen business networks so they can grow more resilient amid various economic challenges.
