Video: Jogja Unveils Komdigi Roadmap to Support Digitalisation in the AI Era

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — CNBC Indonesia, together with the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS), organised Jogja Financial Festival 2026 on 22-23 May 2026, featuring a financial festival, business talks, educational classes, a comedy live show, an exhibition, a concert, and a career corner.

Deputy Minister of Communications and Digital Affairs, Nezar Patria, at Jogja Financial Festival 2026, stated that the government’s strategy is to push digital transformation as a pillar of national economic growth.

Nezar said Indonesia’s digital transformation is underpinned by digital infrastructure such as telecom networks and internet services, with penetration reaching 86% and used to support digital economic transactions. Nevertheless, cyber attacks and digital crimes remain challenges in Indonesia’s digital transformation in the AI era.

Meanwhile, the Executive Head of Supervisory Innovations in the Financial Sector, Digital Financial Assets, and Crypto Assets (ADK IAKD) at OJK, Adi Budiarso, outlined how digital transformation has become the new economy for Indonesia, including in the financial and banking sectors and digital financial assets such as crypto.

Regarding digital financial assets like crypto, transaction accounts have reached more than 21 million, so OJK continues to push development and strengthening of the digital assets sector as part of investment assets.
