Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Throughout 2025, Jakarta’s LRT recorded positive performance in serving transportation in the capital city, averaging around 4,000 passengers per day. Customer satisfaction consistently remained above 90%, reaching up to 99% on-time travel performance and exceeding 98% in meeting Minimum Service Standards (SPM).
Director of LRT Indonesia, Roberto Akyuwen, stated that the performance of Jakarta’s LRT continues to improve in serving the public, with well-maintained operational KRL and support for the DKI Jakarta government’s programs, including the provision of Free Service Cards, which has helped increase passenger numbers.
Jakarta’s LRT aims to optimise the shift of people from private to public transportation. Therefore, Jakarta’s LRT is also integrated with other public transportation services such as Trans Jakarta and Micro Trans. In the future, the Jakarta LRT network will be further integrated with other transportation modes, including the MRT.
