Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The Chairperson of the Indonesian Investment Managers Association (AMII), Lolita Liliana, stated that the mutual fund industry has only recently recovered and is growing well in 2025 after being hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. AMII also noted a shift in asset classes from equity mutual funds to interest-rate-based funds, namely RDPU, RDPT, and protected mutual funds. Amid the current market volatility, AMII is also observing a deeper decline in mutual fund performance in line with increasing market caution. It is hoped that increased education and literacy in the capital market will be able to boost market optimism regarding the prospects for investment in Indonesia’s capital market.
