Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Pegadaian’s transformation through strengthening digital services via the Tring by Pegadaian app has become one of the sources of business growth for Pegadaian in facing global turbulence in 2026.
Director of Marketing, Sales, and Product Development at Pegadaian, Selfie Dewiyanti, stated that Pegadaian’s transformation steps are carried out through strategic initiatives that encompass business models, distribution channels, up to the gold ecosystem and digital system services.
Pegadaian is also transforming branch office services to meet customer needs related to gold banking services, thereby enhancing Pegadaian’s competitiveness against around 214 pawn business companies in Indonesia. In addition, Pegadaian is developing various pawn and gold banking products such as gold instalments and gold savings.
Pegadaian recorded a surge in Tring by Pegadaian customers, where in 2026, Tring customers increased twofold with transaction values exceeding Rp30 trillion.
