Video: Indonesian Warship Expansion, Ready for Export to the Philippines and UAE

PT PAL Indonesia is reinforcing the national shipbuilding industry through collaborations with the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) and universities. Research from institutions such as the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) and Hasanuddin University is being utilised by PT PAL in the design and development of ship production technology, thereby increasing national production capacity. PT PAL is also boosting national shipbuilding human resources by encouraging local talent to contribute to developing the national ship industry. In addition to fulfilling domestic requirements, PT PAL is producing ships for export orders to countries including the Philippines and the United Arab Emirates. Consequently, PT PAL continues to consolidate the domestic ship industry to drive national ship production.
