President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, has stated that he will instruct all levels of schools in Indonesia to study the French language. This announcement follows a recent official state welcoming ceremony hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysée Palace in Paris. In separate news, the World Health Organisation has begun increasing the delivery of aid to the eastern region of the Democratic Republic of Congo. This move comes amidst the widening Ebola outbreak in eastern Congo, which is feared to be becoming increasingly difficult to control.
