The surge in investment interest and gold transactions amidst commodity price volatility, triggered by global economic and geopolitical turmoil, is boosting the gold business in Indonesia. Jual Emas Indonesia (JEI), according to its Founder Juansen, offers buying and selling of precious metals and accepts gold purchases in any form. Although only three months old, JEI is a new business developed from an existing jewellery gold enterprise. JEI focuses on the retail market, primarily targeting the millennial, Gen Z, and baby boomer segments.
