Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Airlangga Hartarto, stated that this decision applies to subsidised BBM types, such as Pertalite and Solar, as long as the global crude oil price does not exceed $97 per barrel. US President Donald Trump has threatened to destroy power plants and bridges in Iran if the Strait of Hormuz is not opened to all maritime traffic. Trump has given a deadline until Tuesday.
