Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa stated that Indonesia always adheres firmly to its promises and agreed contracts to safeguard the nation’s credibility. This was expressed by Purbaya after meeting with Chinese Finance Minister Lan Fo’an to discuss the Whoosh debt restructuring. Purbaya emphasised that the government is now simply waiting for the right time to announce the final results to the public. He stressed that the resolution of this restructuring is linked to the long-term cooperation between the two countries. Although the discussions have been completed, Purbaya remains reluctant to provide technical details regarding the outcome of the Whoosh debt restructuring.
