Video: Finance Minister Closes Door on Tax Amnesty - Oil Prices Soar

Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa has confirmed that, for as long as he serves as the nation’s treasurer, the government will not implement another Tax Amnesty or tax forgiveness programme. This assurance comes in light of Indonesia having already conducted two such programmes, in 2016 and 2022. Meanwhile, oil prices have skyrocketed after US President Donald Trump rejected Iran’s counterproposal to end the war with the US and Israel, with Trump stating firmly that he does not like the proposal put forward by Iran.
