Video: Downstreaming and Industrialisation Become Prabowo's Strategy

President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto will intensify downstream processing and industrialisation to increase the number of formal jobs, amid concerns that Indonesia is heading towards de-industrialisation. Prabowo stated that downstream processing, one of his flagship programmes, will ensure Indonesia no longer exports raw materials but instead industrial goods with added value. This process will ultimately reinvigorate the industrial world and open up more job opportunities for the public.
