Video: Dony Oskaria and the Results of 1.5 Years of Danantara Managing 1,074 State-Owned Enterprises
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Chief Operating Officer of BPI Danantara and Head of the SOE Regulatory Agency, Dony Oskaria, has presented the performance achievements of the Investment Management Agency (BPI) Danantara since it was inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto on 24 February 2025.
BPI Danantara is intended as a driver of Indonesia’s economic growth. In carrying out this mandate, Danantara operates on two pillars: Danantara Asset Management, which acts as a consolidator and operational holding company for state-owned enterprises (SOEs), and Danantara Investment Management, which functions as a developer of investment funds.
In managing SOEs, Danantara is conducting a review of 1,074 state-owned companies, of which 52% are experiencing losses and inefficiencies amounting to Rp 50 trillion per year. This is being addressed through four measures: liquidation, divestment, consolidation, and restructuring. By the end of 2026, the number of SOEs is expected to be reduced to 254 solid and profitable entities.
