Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The Revolving Fund Management Institution (LPDB) for Cooperatives, as a working unit of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, has affirmed its role and duties in managing and distributing financing to strengthen cooperatives.

President Director of the Revolving Fund Management Institution (LPDB) for Cooperatives, Krisdianto Soedarmono, stated that LPDB Cooperatives has been operating since 2006 and in 2026 is targeted to distribute Rp 2.1 trillion in revolving funds, bringing total financing to Rp 22 trillion for 3,900 cooperatives.

LPDB Cooperatives provides a positive impact on strengthening cooperative capital, both for working capital and investment, with attractive interest rates that help cooperative businesses amid global economic and geopolitical uncertainty.

LPDB has several strategies, namely prioritising government programmes including national strategic projects (PSN) and focusing on cooperatives in the real sector because they are directly linked to the people’s economy. LPDB Cooperatives also encourages strengthening cooperative governance and administrative order, as well as having management certification.

LPDB Cooperatives also focuses on channelling financing to cooperatives affiliated with cooperatives allied with central national strategic programmes such as Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) and KDMP.
