Video: Danantara Praises Hery Gunardi's Success in Leading BRI Transformation

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Chief Operating Officer of BPI Danantara and Head of the State-Owned Enterprise Regulatory Agency, Dony Oskaria, has reported on the performance achievements of the Investment Management Agency (BPI) Danantara since it was inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto on 24 February 2025.

BPI Danantara is consolidating the asset management of state-owned enterprises, which will be connected to banks serving as distribution channels, thereby creating a solid asset management structure. One example is the transformation of Danareksa, which has more than 50 subsidiaries and has been restructured into Danareksa Investment. In addition, Danantara has formed an industrial estate holding through an industrial estate ecosystem, so that its revenue sources are no longer solely derived from land leasing.

In the banking sector, Danantara has transformed Bank Himbara through strengthening and standardising the naming within the Bank Himbara organisational structure. Business analysis has also been carried out by strengthening sources of business and asset growth.

One such reform is at Bank BRI, which focuses on the micro sector, but whose commercial and corporate segments have not grown. Improvements have therefore been made by reducing the cost of funds. In addition, BRI’s leadership has been filled with individuals whose capacity and capability match the needs of the business reform.

Danantara also praised the successful transformation of BNI and Bank Mandiri, which are led by future-oriented and competent bankers, enabling them to record strong performance for Indonesia’s state-owned banks.
