Video: Crude Oil Prices Plunge 3% While Coal Prices Remain Red-Hot

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) extended its strengthening trend in the first session of trading on Monday (15/06). As of 10:02 Western Indonesia Time, the IHSG had gained 3.85% to reach 6,239, with the rupiah also strengthening 0.92% to Rp 17,700 per US dollar. In commodities, global crude oil prices plunged 3%, with Brent crude falling to USD 84.9 per barrel and WTI to USD 80 per barrel. On the other hand, coal prices continued to heat up, breaking through the USD 148 per tonne level.
