Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - CNBC Indonesia presents the Tech & Telco Forum 2026 with the theme “Building a Safer Digital Nation: From Connectivity to Cyber Resilience,” which will discuss strategies, prospects, and challenges for Indonesia in strengthening cyber security to support national digital transformation.

Chair of the Cyber Security Measurement Team, D41 BSSN, Megi Paramitha Putra, at the Tech & Telco Forum 2026, presented several cyber risks in public services through BSSN’s mapping based on PP No. 82/2022. Various vital information infrastructure sectors experience interdependencies between sectors, from government administration, finance, defence, energy, to health, so that when a disruption occurs in one system, it will affect other sectors.

Therefore, in strengthening national cyber security and cryptography, BSSN carries out several steps, including identification to handling strategies.

From the banking industry perspective, BNI’s Chief Information Security Officer, Kirby Chong, explained the strengthening of cyber security at BNI through five pillars: identification, protection, detection, response, and recovery.
