Video: Construction SOE Expands into LRT and Philippine Railway Projects
Jakarta — State-owned construction company PT Adhi Karya has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting sound, high-quality national development under President Prabowo through projects covering food, energy and water self-sufficiency, downstream processing and industrialisation, and transport.
Adhi Karya currently has five major projects: emergency-response works in Aceh, North Sumatra and West Sumatra; a shrimp-farming project in Waingapu; Package C of the PKT Soda Ash project; Phase 3 of the Sekolah Rakyat programme in Papua; and Sentani Airport. The company is also seeking to expand its railway infrastructure business through the Jabodebek LRT and MRT Phase 2 projects, as well as the North-South Commuter Railway (NCSR) in the Philippines.
To maintain its financial health and support its construction projects, Adhi Karya president director Moeharmein Zein Chaniago said the company was strengthening efficiency across all aspects of its business, from planning through project execution, in pursuit of operational excellence.
Adhi Karya is also using digitalisation as an enabler to strengthen its construction business. This includes integrating business processes, project monitoring, procurement and cost control, alongside data-driven decision-making, so projects can be delivered faster, productivity improved and added value created.
