Meanwhile, from the President Director of PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) (BBTN) or BTN, Nixon LP Napitupulu, conveyed the role of banks in expanding banking services to unbanked people through the housing sector via Subsidised Mortgage (KPR Subsidi) to help low-income households (MBR) as it features a financing scheme with low interest and light down payments.

From BSI, the President Director of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BRIS), Anggoro Eko Cahyo, described the role of a Sharia bank in helping the advancement of UMKM. The banking industry has a role in determining the direction of economic growth, and Islamic banking takes part in building a fair, transparent and sustainable economy.

Meanwhile, the Director of Treasury & International Banking PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI), Abu Santosa Sudradjat, explained how national banks are expanding services abroad. Where BNI has 10 branches in 8 countries, acting as a gateway for the domestic business world to advance its business in international markets.

From PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), the Director of Finance & Strategy PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, Novita Widya Anggraini, highlighted BMRI’s strength with 39 million customers spread across Indonesia served through 1,200 branches and online services via Livin’ by Mandiri and Kopra by Mandiri.
