Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Stakeholder Member for Technology of the National Energy Council, Unggul Priyanto, has assured Indonesia’s readiness to implement the mandatory policy for blending vegetable fuel (BBN) biodiesel at 50%, or B50. Currently, biodiesel production capacity stands at 22 million kilolitres per year, while the requirement for B50 is 19 million kilolitres, which is sufficient but needs reinforcement to 24 million kilolitres to anticipate factory maintenance and other factors. Regarding vehicle usage, the shift from B40 to B50 biodiesel implementation will necessitate additional filters in vehicle engines. What is Indonesia’s readiness to implement B50 like?
