Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - CNBC Indonesia held the Insurance Forum with the theme ‘Optimising Insurance Protection & New Directions for the Development of Unit-Linked Products in Indonesia’ as a forum for regulators, associations and insurance professionals to seek solutions to encourage the growth and acceleration of the national insurance business transformation.
The President Director of PT AXA Financial Indonesia, Niharika Yadav, presented AXA Financial’s strategy for developing life and health insurance services at the 2026 Insurance Forum.
PT AXA Financial Indonesia has several flagship insurance products aimed at providing access to health protection services for the Indonesian people through traditional insurance and unit-linked or PAYDI (Investment-Linked Insurance Products).
The products offered by AXA Financial are designed to meet the diverse but affordable needs of customers, such as health insurance for critical illnesses to daily protection, and insurance that includes comprehensive health protection.
Specifically for Unit-Linked products, there has been an overall decline in interest and demand for unit-linked products in the insurance industry as a result of past mistakes. This is partly related to miscommunication in the marketing process of unit-linked products regarding the transparency of information about the benefits and risks of unit-linked products conveyed by agents to customers.
It is hoped that the strengthening of regulations by the authorities and the insurance industry will be able to increase customer trust in Unit-Linked products.
