Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Economy Minister Airlangga Hartarto has spoken out regarding the exchange rate of the rupiah, which touched 17,105 rupiah per US dollar in trading on Tuesday. According to him, it is not only the rupiah’s exchange rate that has declined, but also those of several other countries’ currencies. Bank Indonesia has spoken out about the rupiah’s exchange rate breaching its all-time weakest record on Tuesday, 7 April 2026, reaching the level of 17,105 per US dollar.
