Video: Absent After Eid Holiday, 2,700 Civil Servants Face Performance Allowance Cuts

More than 2,700 civil servants (ASN) have been subjected to sanctions in the form of performance allowance (tukin) deductions and dismissals for failing to attend work without explanation or absconding after the long Eid holiday. During a briefing led by Social Minister Saifullah Yusuf, known as Gus Ipul, at the Ministry of Social Affairs on Thursday (25/03/2026), it was found that 2,708 employees were absent without notice.
