Video: 30 Years On, PROPER Environmental Award Attracts 5,476 Participants

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The Ministry of Environment, in collaboration with CNBC Indonesia, is once again presenting the 2025 PROPER Environmental Award on Tuesday, 7 April 2026, as a platform to appreciate companies committed to sustainable business practices and environmental responsibility.

Deputy for Pollution Control and Environmental Damage, Ministry of Environment (KLH), Rasio Ridho Sani, reported that the 2025 PROPER Environmental Award is a performance assessment aimed at improving company compliance while encouraging companies to go beyond mere compliance.

The PROPER Environmental Award also serves as an instrument for supervision and guidance, assessing company performance that is reported to the public. This is intended to provide space for company innovation in efforts to protect the environment.

PROPER has been implemented for 30 years since 1995 and has been consistently carried out. For PROPER 2025, the number of participating companies has increased by 20% to 5,476 companies from more than 200 industrial sectors.
