Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) has officially announced the results of its global index review for the May 2026 period. Indonesia remains in the MSCI emerging markets index. However, it has suffered a significant setback after six domestic shares were removed from the MSCI Global Standard Index, with no new shares added. Meanwhile, a large explosion shook a market in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in north-western Pakistan on Tuesday, 12 May local time. The incident killed at least nine people and injured more than 20 others.
