Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted a state visit to Indonesia on Monday, 6 July 2026, to strengthen strategic cooperation and partnership between the two nations. President Prabowo Subianto personally welcomed PM Modi, who is undertaking a three-day visit to Jakarta and Yogyakarta. The visit will reinforce 16 points of strategic cooperation and partnership, covering the sectors of trade, investment, defence, maritime security, energy, technology, education, and people-to-people relations.
