Victims' Lawyer Alleges Islamic Boarding School Head in Pekalongan Sexually Abused Female Students Since 2008

PEKALONGAN — Abdul Khalim Fadlun (54), the head of Padang Ati Islamic Boarding School in Pekalongan Regency, Central Java, is alleged to have sexually abused several female students at the institution since 2008. This was revealed by Ahmad Fauzi, the lawyer representing six alleged victims of sexual abuse by Abdul. Fauzi stated that the six alleged victims he is representing are aged between 17 and 33 and are all former female students of Padang Ati Islamic Boarding School. According to Fauzi’s gathered testimonies, Abdul sexually abused his clients starting in 2008. ‘The incidents spanned from 2008 to 2025, which is a long time, and all six are former students,’ Fauzi said when contacted on Thursday, May 28, 2026. He revealed that Abdul committed sexual abuse both verbally and physically. ‘The modus operandi varied. Some were told to massage him, then coaxed,’ he said. According to Fauzi, the six alleged victims he represents state they were never raped by Abdul. ‘But they were groped, kissed, and so on,’ he added.
