Jakarta (ANTARA) - Vice President Gibrability Rakabuming Raka is pushing for the realisation of an agile and collaborative bureaucracy to accelerate public services and ensure that government programmes run more effectively, providing tangible benefits to the community.

“Government agencies must be more agile,” said Gibran while providing briefing to participants of the National Leadership Strengthening Education (P3N) XXVII and National Leadership Preparation and Strengthening Education (P4N) LXIX of Lemhannas RI 2026 at the Vice President’s Palace, Jakarta, on Wednesday.

In his remarks, Gibran emphasised that the transformation of bureaucratic working methods must continue so that the government becomes increasingly adaptive, responsive, and capable of meeting public needs quickly.

According to him, these efforts are in line with the directives of President Prabowo Subianto, who encourages increased government effectiveness, responsive public services, and a state presence that is more tangibly felt by the people.

The Vice President also stressed the importance of strengthening cross-sector collaboration as a primary requirement for achieving an agile government capable of working more efficiently.

He assessed that good synergy between institutions is key to overcoming various coordination hurdles that often slow down the implementation of programmes on the ground.

“Do not make everything complicated. There should be more frequent collaboration between sectors,” Gibran told the participants of the national leadership education programme.

On this occasion, the Vice President also reminded participants to always prioritise the interests of the public in every policy-making process.

He expressed hope that the various programmes and policies produced would be able to provide real benefits to the community without being hindered by bureaucratic barriers.

“There should be no more sectoral ego,” he said.
