Vice President Gibran Reviews Post-Disaster Recovery Progress in Aceh

Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka visited Bireuen Regency, Aceh, on Thursday to directly observe the progress of post-disaster recovery efforts. The working visit focused on the development of two vital infrastructure projects: the Krueng Tingkeum Kutablang bridge and the Teupin Mane bridge. The Vice President received briefings from Ministry of Public Works officials regarding the construction of the Teupin Mane bridge. His agenda also included inspecting the revitalisation of damaged schools, such as SDN-7 Jangka, where he spoke with residents and listened to the aspirations of teachers. The visit aimed to accelerate the restoration of life for communities affected by the Sumatra disaster at the end of November 2025.
