Vice President Gibran Inspects Progress of MRT Phase 2A Harmoni-Sawah Besar

Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka inspected the MRT Harmoni-Sawah Besar tunnel in Jakarta on Tuesday (12/5/2026). The Vice President reviewed the progress of the Integrated Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Phase 2A Harmoni-Sawah Besar to ensure that MRT operations proceed according to the deadline, namely at the end of 2027 for the Bundaran HI-Monas route. Based on data as of 12 May 2026, the progress of the Jakarta MRT Phase 2A construction from Bundaran HI to Kota has reached 59.7 per cent, with the operational target for the Bundaran HI-Monas route at the end of 2027 and for the Monas-Kota route at the end of 2029.
