Vespa Primavera 2026: Larger Engine, Keyless, Stable Pricing

JAKARTA — PT Piaggio Indonesia has officially launched five new models for 2026. One of the vehicles receiving an update is the Sprint family, which now features an upgraded engine and various new features.

Technical Training Manager at PT Piaggio Indonesia, Irvan Henrianto, stated that the main improvement lies in the engine’s increased displacement. The latest Primavera is now available in two variants: standard and S, each offering three colour options.

The standard Primavera is offered in Beige Avvolgente, Green Amabile, and White Innocente, whilst the Primavera S is available in Blue Capri, White Innocente, and Yellow Disinvolto.

The most visible change is the instrument panel, which now features a full-colour LCD display. The engine performance has also improved, with the displacement increased to 174.1 cc. Power output reaches 11 kW or approximately 15 horsepower at 8,250 RPM, an increase of around 2.1 kW (2.8 horsepower) compared to the previous model, whilst torque rises to 13.7 Nm at 6,500 RPM.

The visual updates to the Primavera are also noteworthy. These include a new round mirror design, new tie rods and mudguard crest, a five-spoke wheel design, new exhaust pipe and cover, new brackets, and new seat material and colours.

Regarding pricing, Piaggio Indonesia has maintained prices from the Primavera 150 generation. The standard Primavera is priced at IDR 55 million and the Primavera S at IDR 57.5 million.
