The National Digital Samsat (Signal) application, together with PT Pos Indonesia, has launched the Vespa Amazing Ride (VAR) 2026. The automatic Vespa community touring event, which will travel from Java to Bali on 25-28 June 2026, carries a message of road safety and tax compliance.

Signal’s President Director, Jetto Arif Fanany, explained that the activity, themed ‘One Spirit, One Journey’, is open for Vespa enthusiasts to join. More than just a riding event, he said, it serves as an educational platform to encourage vehicle tax compliance, raise awareness of traffic safety, and introduce the public to the ease of digital public services.

‘Signal is targeting 100 participants for Vespa Amazing Ride 2026. Registration remains open until 23 June. However, the committee will only accept participants from outside the VGT Club if they meet the requirements,’ Jetto Arif stated in Jakarta on Saturday (20/6). ‘This activity is a form of collaboration between Signal and PT Pos Indonesia in building closeness with the motor vehicle community,’ he added.

The Vespa GT was chosen for this educational activity because the community is considered to have a strong character, high solidarity, and the ability to reach various cross-generational groups. These values align with the spirit of building active public participation in supporting a culture of traffic order and vehicle tax compliance. Touring participants will also be encouraged to understand the importance of traffic discipline while utilising digital services that now greatly simplify vehicle administration processes.

Support was also voiced by the Head of the Coaching and Service Section of the National Police Traffic Corps, AKBP Ari Satmoko, who sees a strong correlation with education. The VAR 2026 event also provides education and a message of orderliness in motor vehicle administration. ‘We hope VAR 2026 can further increase awareness of paying taxes, which is now easier and more practical through the Signal application, leading to awareness of orderly vehicle documentation,’ said Ari Satmoko.

Meanwhile, the Head of SWDKLLJ Affairs at PT Jasa Raharja, Robinson Alfabet, also assessed that motor communities have a strategic role in cultivating a culture of safe and responsible riding. His party supports all motor communities that uphold riding discipline and comply with traffic rules, such as wearing helmets, obeying signs, and mutual respect on the road, which must become a shared culture. ‘Motor communities, in this case Vespa GT, can be a positive example for the younger generation on how to ride safely, orderly, and responsibly,’ said Robinson.

The Vespa Amazing Ride 2026 series will begin with a flag-off in Surabaya on 26 June before heading to Bali. On the Island of the Gods, participants will take part in various activities, including a Saturday Morning Ride in Denpasar and a visit to the Renon Post Office. The entire VAR 2026 event series will conclude with a Sunset Ride to Melasti Beach.
