Jakarta (ANTARA) - The panel of judges at the Corruption Court of the Central Jakarta District Court has postponed the verdict hearing for the alleged fictitious procurement case in the 2022–2023 housing project, originally scheduled for today, to Tuesday, 5 May 2026.

Presiding Judge I Wayan Yasa stated that the panel has not yet completed its deliberations on the case involving Herry Nurdy Nasution and Didik Mardiyanto, thus requiring additional time.

“We will certainly take into account the detention period to ensure it does not exceed the existing limit,” said the Presiding Judge during the hearing at the Corruption Court of the Central Jakarta District Court on Tuesday.

Accordingly, the panel of judges has requested the public prosecutor (JPU) to bring the defendants back for the verdict reading session, scheduled to begin at 09.00 WIB.

In the case, Herry Nurdy and Didik Mardiyanto are each demanded to receive prison sentences of three years and five years respectively, as well as fines of Rp200 million or subsidiary one year in prison.

Additionally, the JPU has demanded that both be sentenced to additional penalties in the form of restitution payments.

Didik Mardiyanto is demanded to pay restitution of Rp36.03 billion, reduced by a return of Rp27.04 billion, leaving a balance of Rp8.99 billion or subsidiary imprisonment of one year and six months.

Meanwhile, Herry Nurdy is demanded to pay restitution of Rp10.8 billion, reduced by an equivalent return, so Herry is no longer burdened with restitution payments.

Didik and Herry are alleged to have committed unlawful acts by managing funds privately outside the accounting records by disbursing company funds using fictitious goods and services procurement.

The fictitious procurement is alleged to have been carried out in the housing construction project, one of which is the construction of a ferronickel smelter in Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi.

The fictitious procurement is alleged to have enriched several parties, namely Didik by Rp35.33 billion, Herry by Rp10.8 billion, and Director of PT Adipati Wijaya Imam Ristianto by Rp707 million.

For their actions, the two defendants are charged with violating Article 2 paragraph (1) or Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 of Law No. 31 of 1999 on the Eradication of Corruption Crimes jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) first jo. Article 64 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.
