The defendants in the alleged criminal corruption case involving credit granting at PT Sritex, Iwan Setiawan Lukminto (second from left) and Iwan Kurniawan Lukminto (second from right), walked out after attending the verdict hearing at the Semarang Corruption Court in Central Java on Wednesday (6/5/2026). The panel of judges sentenced former PT Sritex Chairman Iwan Setiawan Lukminto to 14 years’ imprisonment and a fine of one billion rupiah, which if unpaid will be replaced by 190 days’ detention, while former PT Sritex Director Iwan Kurniawan Lukminto was sentenced to 12 years’ imprisonment and a fine of one billion rupiah, which if unpaid will be replaced by 190 days’ detention, along with the obligation to pay restitution for state losses amounting to Rp677 billion each, as they were found guilty of committing corruption and money laundering offences (TPPU) that resulted in state losses of Rp1.3 trillion.
