Verdict Hearing for Crude Oil Corruption Case Runs Late into the Night
The verdict hearing for the corruption case involving the management of crude oil was held until late at night at the Jakarta Corruption Court. There are nine defendants in this case who are facing sentencing.
As of 1:27 AM on Friday (27/2/2026), the reading of the verdict in the corruption case involving the management of crude oil was still ongoing. Up to this point, only six defendants had their verdicts read out.
There are three defendants who have not yet had their verdicts read out. They are Muhamad Kerry Adrianto Riza (MKAR) as the beneficial owner of PT Navigator Khatulistiwa, Dimas Werhaspati (DW) as a Commissioner of PT Navigator Khatulistiwa and also a Commissioner of PT Jenggala Maritim, and Gading Ramadhan Joedo (GRJ) as a Commissioner of PT Jenggala Maritim and Director of PT Orbit Terminal Merak.
The courtroom and lobby of the Jakarta Corruption Court were still filled with supporters of the defendants. They were all wearing white shirts.
The panel of judges stated that the six defendants in this case had been proven guilty of committing corruption. The first group whose verdicts were read out included Riva Siahaan (RS) as the former Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Maya Kusmaya (MK) as the former Director of Marketing and Trading of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, and Edward Corne (EC) as the former VP of Trading Operations of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga.
The hearing then continued with the reading of verdicts for the other three defendants in the second group. They are Sani Dinar Saifuddin (SDS) as the former Director of Feedstock and Product Optimization of PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional, Yoki Firnandi (YF) as the former Director of PT Pertamina International Shipping, and Agus Purwono (AP) as the former VP of Feedstock Management of PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional.

Riva Siahaan was sentenced to 9 years in prison and a fine of IDR 1 billion, or 190 days of imprisonment if the fine is not paid.
Maya Kusmaya was sentenced to 9 years in prison and a fine of IDR 1 billion, or 190 days of imprisonment if the fine is not paid.
Edward Corne was sentenced to 10 years in prison and a fine of IDR 1 billion, or 190 days of imprisonment if the fine is not paid.
Sani Dinar Saifuddin was sentenced to 9 years in prison, a fine of IDR 1 billion, or 190 days of imprisonment if the fine is not paid.
Yoki Firnandi was sentenced to 9 years in prison, a fine of IDR 1 billion, or 190 days of imprisonment if the fine is not paid.
Agus Purwono was sentenced to 10 years in prison and a fine of IDR 1 billion, or 190 days of imprisonment if the fine is not paid.
