Some time ago Jl. Paus, Rawamangun, East Jakarta, was
broadened to two separate lanes. The Jakarta administration's
decision to widen the road as the traffic congestion worsens is
to be commended.

However, situation on that particular road has not improved.
Sidewalk vendors use tents to do their business causing a great
nuisance among motorists. The number of tents increases at
night.

I hope authorities take necessary measures and punish the
recalcitrant vendors.
