Vehicle Tax Operation Launched in Southeast Sulawesi, Targeting 628,000 Delinquent Vehicles
KENDARI – The Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Government is intensifying efforts to improve public compliance with motor vehicle tax payments through an enforcement operation conducted simultaneously across 17 regencies and cities. The move comes as the number of vehicles in arrears remains high, reaching 628,537 units by the end of 2025. In addition to boosting locally-generated revenue (PAD), the operation serves as an educational tool to increase public awareness of the importance of fulfilling tax obligations.
