Vehicle Rental and Office Business Booms, Tugu Insurance Subsidiary Books Rp95.1 Billion Profit
The resurgence in vehicle rental trends and demand for office space among businesses has brought blessings for PT Pratama Mitra Sejati (Pratama). A subsidiary of PT Asuransi Tugu Pratama Indonesia Tbk (TUGU), the company successfully reaped significant net profit growth throughout the 2025 financial year. Through its ‘Tugu Rent’ car rental business line and the management of ‘Wisma Tugu’ buildings, the corporation successfully addressed the high demand for mobility and productive workspaces from both individual consumers and national corporations. As a result, the company’s operating revenue was lifted by 3.68 percent to Rp443.8 billion, up from Rp428.1 billion in the previous year. The increase in revenue successfully drove efficiency, resulting in a net profit of Rp95.1 billion. This figure soared by 13.01 percent compared to the 2024 profit, which was capped at Rp84.2 billion. Pratama President Director Quartantyo Wijanarko explained that this positive achievement was inseparable from the company’s strategy of keenly observing market opportunities. Amidst dynamic macroeconomic conditions, management chose to focus on expanding service coverage to the state-owned enterprise (BUMN), regional-owned enterprise (BUMD), and multinational private company sectors. ‘Throughout 2025, amidst challenging macroeconomic dynamics, Pratama continued to demonstrate positive financial proforma through operational strengthening,’ said Quartantyo after the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPS) at Wisma Tugu Raden Saleh, Jakarta. Thanks to the thicker profit contribution, the company also confirmed it will distribute dividends as a form of reciprocity to shareholders. Moreover, the company’s financial reliability in maintaining its financial commitments received recognition from PT Pemeringkat Efek Indonesia (PEFINDO) with an idA/Stable rating. The stellar performance of the board of directors also drew appreciation from the board of commissioners. Pratama President Commissioner Hedi Hudayana expressed hope that the cohesiveness of all employees in maintaining service quality for customers can be sustained. ‘The hope is that this collaborative spirit is maintained so that the company is able to face various business challenges in the future and sustain its performance,’ added Hedi.
