Varta Maintains Battery Prices Despite Rising Production Costs
JAKARTA — Amid rising production costs and price adjustments across several automotive sectors, Varta vehicle battery manufacturer has confirmed no price increases for its products in Indonesia.
Adrian Tay, Director of PT HTG Indonesia Distribusi, which operates as a partnership with PT Ecobatt Indo Lestari, stated the company is monitoring market conditions before making any pricing decisions.
He noted the automotive industry is currently dynamic due to production cost changes in various sectors. Despite this, Varta is striving to maintain competitive pricing for consumers and dealers.
‘We are committed to offering competitive prices for consumers and dealers,’ Tay said.
He added that there has been no official announcement regarding price adjustments for Varta batteries in Indonesia, but the company will continue to monitor market and business environment conditions.
‘For now, there are no changes, but we will keep monitoring the market and business environment,’ he said.
Additionally, Varta aims to ensure consumers receive quality products at appropriate prices.
