Various robots showcased at World AI Conference 2026 in Shanghai

The World AI Conference (WAIC) 2026 and the High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance, held from Friday (17/7) to Monday (20/7), featured an exhibition of smart devices, AI-based cultural and entertainment experiences, and various cutting-edge AI products. One of the main highlights of the event was a range of humanoid robots and dexterous AI-based robotic hands. Various intelligent robots capable of adapting to diverse scenarios for industrial production and daily life were showcased. Notably, China’s annual production of humanoid robots is projected to exceed 100,000 units this year.
