A number of ministries and agencies are requesting additional budget allocations for the year 2027.

From Monday (31/8) to Tuesday (1/9), several commissions within the House of Representatives (DPR) held meetings with their respective work partners to discuss Work and Budget Plans (RKA). These meetings were conducted in both open and closed sessions.

During these sessions, various ministries and agencies requested budget increases beyond the previously established budget ceilings.

  • National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas): Budget ceiling of Rp1.56 trillion; proposed increase of Rp2.16 trillion

  • Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG): Budget ceiling of Rp2.52 trillion; required budget of Rp4.64 trillion, resulting in a backlog of Rp2.12 trillion.
