Various Applications of the DFSK Super Cab, from Campervan to Water Filtration Vehicle

Jakarta – The Super Cab represents the backbone of DFSK vehicle sales in Indonesia. Its relatively large model with a spacious cargo bed can be adapted into various configurations, presenting promising opportunities for new business ventures.

Cing Hok Rifin, Director of Sales Center at PT Sokonindo Automobile, stated that vehicles function not merely as transportation tools. According to him, vehicles can also serve as part of a mobility solution that supports various community activities.

Through partnerships with coachbuilders, the Super Cab can be modified into various vehicle types. These include campervans, shuttle buses, medium buses, minibuses, and food trucks.

Additionally, the pickup can be developed into blind vans, aluminium box vehicles, mobile cash vans, mobile libraries, portable cold storage units, and water treatment vehicles. This flexibility is expected to unlock new business opportunities for entrepreneurs.

The Super Cab is produced at PT Sokonindo Automobile’s facility in Cikande, Serang, Banten, which adopts Intelligent Manufacturing Target Industry 4.0 technology. This 20-hectare factory is also equipped with a spare parts centre to ensure parts availability for customers.

In terms of specifications, the Super Cab is equipped with a 1.5-litre DK15 petrol engine with Dual VVT technology, delivering 102 PS of power and 140 Nm of torque.

Its carrying capacity reaches 1.2 tonnes with cargo bed dimensions of 2,470 mm × 1,670 mm × 240 mm. It is well-suited for commercial use.
