Vandalism of Signalling Equipment at Daru Station in Tangerang Disrupts KRL Services
KRL Commuter Line services have reportedly been disrupted due to suspected vandalism of signalling equipment on the track between Daru Station and Parung Panjang Station. This information was announced directly by KAI Commuter via a post on their official X social media account @CommuterLine on Friday (8/5) at 06:29 WIB. “There are indications of vandalism on the signalling equipment between Daru-Parung Panjang stations,” wrote KAI Commuter. Due to the damage to the signalling system, staff have been forced to adjust the operational pattern to prioritise passenger safety. Train movements passing through the area are now regulated alternately. “Currently, Commuter Line services are experiencing changes in entry and exit at stations,” the post continued. In response to the potential for queues on routes and passenger build-ups resulting from this incident, management has issued an apology. “We apologise for the inconvenience,” wrote KAI Commuter.
