Vance: US strong enough to face global threats, including from China

Washington (ANTARA) - United States Vice President J.D. Vance has stated that his country is sufficiently strong to effectively face various global challenges, including those from China.

“We are clearly strong enough to face threats across the world, including from China,” Vance said during an interview with Fox News.

While the US recognises China as a rival with ambitions that conflict with those of America, Vance emphasised that the US remains committed to maintaining positive relations with Beijing, regardless of existing differences.

Last March, US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and CIA Director John Ratcliffe identified Russia and China as the primary competitors of the United States.
